No. It uses thermal printing—heat activates the special sticker paper, so there’s no ink, cartridges, or toner to replace.

Question 4: Which app do I use?
Use the official companion app listed in your Quick Start card (iOS/Android). It includes templates, fonts, borders, QR/Barcode tools, and image editing.
Question 5: How do I connect it?
Turn the printer on → enable Bluetooth on your phone → open the app → add/select “InstaStick™” from the device list.
Question 6: What paper does it use?
Direct-thermal sticker paper rolls (various widths depending on your model). We recommend InstaStick™ branded rolls for best print quality.
Question 7: Can it print in color?
Thermal printers print in black/gray. You can use colored sticker paper for different backgrounds.
Question 8: What sizes can I print?
Common widths: 15–57 mm (varies by model). Check the “Paper Size” option in the app and match it to the roll you’ve loaded.
Question 9: How long do prints last?
With normal indoor use, thermal prints last months to years. Keep away from heat, oils, sunlight, and plasticizers (like some PVC sleeves) to maximize longevity.
Question 10: Is the paper waterproof?
Standard thermal paper is splash-resistant. For better durability, use water-resistant or laminated thermal sticker rolls.
Question 11: How do I replace the paper roll?
Open the top cover → drop in the roll with paper feeding forward from the bottom → pull a little past the cutter → close the lid → set paper size in the app.

Rechargeable via USB-C (cable included). A full charge typically lasts several rolls depending on print density and usage.
Question 13: Why do my prints look faint or streaky?
Paper not seated correctly—reload and set the correct size in the app.
Low battery—charge fully.
Low contrast setting—increase “Density/Contrast” in the app.
Wrong paper—use direct-thermal sticker paper.
Question 14: Can I print photos?
Yes—convert to black/white in the app. For best results, use bright, high-contrast images and the “Dither/HD” option if available.
Question 15: Can it print barcodes or QR codes?
Yes—the app has built-in tools for QR, EAN/UPC, Code128, and more.

Yes. After the app is installed, printing over Bluetooth does not require Wi-Fi.
